The Sun Singer is gloriously convoluted, with threads that turn on themselves and lyrical prose on which you can float down the mysterious, sun-shaded channels of this charmingly liquid story.” –Diana Gabaldon, Echo in the Bone (Outlander)
Take the Journey, Experience the Adventure

The Sun Singer is a contemporary mythic adventure inspired by the famous Sun Singer statue in Allerton Park at Monticello, Illinois and set in the mountains of Montana's Glacier National Park.

The statue brought Robert the gift of prophecy. At first, it was fun, but when it became deadly serious, he wanted to become normal again. But his avatar grandfather gave him a mysterious mission to complete. He soon learned he would need his abilities to tell friend from foe, complete a vision quest on a mountain peak, survive battles against an evil king, and discover himself and his destiny.

This mythic "hero's path" journey takes readers deep into a hidden mountain world where time and space can be bent by directing the energy from a hiker's staff made of apple wood. But first, Robert must find himself, accept his gift and risk his life in the service of others, and then he must survive the journey home.

If you have been to Glacier National Park, you will recognize Swiftcurrent and Josephine Lakes, Mt. Gould and the Angel Wing, and the Garden Wall and the Ptarmigan Tunnel. The release of this new edition of "The Sun Singer" comes during Glacier Park's 2010 centennial celebrations.

A portion of the novel's profits will be donated to the National Park Service in support of the Centennial Program.
